Blinded By The Screen

Blinded By The Screen

€40,000.00

This limited edition sculpture is hand-crafted in solid marble and produced in an edition of 8, with 4 artist’s proofs. Subtle variations in size and finish make each piece unique.

Standing 178 cm tall and weighing 650 kg, the work commands presence both physically and conceptually.

The sculpture depicts a paradox of our time: a man who is not blind, yet moves through life as if he were. His eyes are fixed on the glowing screen in his hand, while a white cane guides him through the real world. The figure becomes a metaphor for how technology shapes — and often narrows — our perception of reality.

Every detail, from the stone’s surface texture to the monumental scale, reinforces the work’s critical message: in an age of infinite digital vision, we risk losing sight of what is directly in front of us.

The sculpture is designed as a permanent statement work for galleries, private collections, and public spaces. Each edition comes with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
